Oil Filter
Replacement
CAUTION: Loosen the oil filter carefully while the
engine is hot, the hot oil may cause scalding.
1. Remove the oil filter with the special tool as shown.
2. Inspect the threads and rubber seal on the new filter.
Wipe off the seat on oil filter base, then apply a light
coat of oil to the rubber seal and install the filter.
3. After the rubber seal is seated against the base,
tighten the oil filter by turning it approximately one
turn.
Torque: One turn (22 N-m (2.2 kg-m, 16 lb-ft)).

4. Start the engine, and check the filter for oil leakage.
